What else do I need to know?

Manila Arrival Information

You can arrive at any time on day 1. However, if you want a day or two in Manila prior to the planned itinerary, we can arrange your accommodation for approximately $60 AUD per night.

Philippines adventures after the tour

This 13-day Philippines tour starts and finishes in Manila, making it perfect for those who want the full Philippines package from arrival to departure. However, if you would like to stay on longer in the Philippines, we can help organise all of your onward travel, including any of our add-on packages

Travel Insurance in the Philippines

Travel Insurance is not compulsory but is highly recommended. We can help you out with that too! Just get in touch and let us know what you need.

Visas for the Philippines

Most nationalities including Australia, UK, Europe, NZ, Canada and US do not need a visa to enter the Philippines. If you plan to stay in the Philippines for longer than 30 days you will need to extend your visa for a fee of approximately $80 AUD. We recommend checking with your local Philippines consulate for up to date visa requirements and costs. If you need any further help with visas just ask us.

How much spending money will I need for this Philippines tour?

All your activities, accommodation, transport and some meals are included, so you’ll just need money for any extra meals, drinks, shopping and any onward travel. We recommend you bring at least $500 AUD spending money per person.

What luggage do you recommend?

We always recommend travelling with a backpack and packing light! 10-20kgs of stuff should be plenty. It’s usually pretty hot in the Philippines, which makes pulling too much luggage around a somewhat sweaty affair.

Solo Traveller

The tour was ideal for me as a solo traveller allowing me to slot the trip into the exact dates of my holiday, even leaving out one part to make it work. Despite my flight date being changed by my airline at the last minute, I was still able to adjust my trip without missing out on any major part. Communication was available at any time should any concerns arise. I was surprised how much of the Philippines I covered in a short time.

Solo Traveller

The trip was great! I travelled with my mum and dad and we all really enjoyed it! The accommodation in most places was comfortable but the hotels in Boracay, Puerto Princesa and Tagaytay were way above what we expected! The activities included were great! Unfortunately, the underground river tour was cancelled due to bad weather but we were taken on an alternate tour and were given a small refund from Do ou Travel for the inconvenience.

Solo Traveller

My husband and I chose this trip as we were looking for a Philippines package that wasn’t a group tour. The trip was fantastic! The itinerary was amazing and some of the places we stayed were just superb! Would highly recommend this tour for people who like a little more comfort when they are travelling!
